Free Time at Work
When I have free time at work, I like to crunch numbers. Which is why I'm majoring in accounting. How can I afford school with all this debt? It's called student loans. They defer the payments until you graduate. Anyways...while I had downtime at work, I did my manual debt snowball. I do use the electronic one, but it helps me when I do it manually. Especially during downtime at work and I can see the details. It made me feel better that I will pay off my line of credit this upcoming month. Then after that I can pay off my credit card in two months, and then work on the next loan and be done with those in December. Then the major one would be my car. My husband Kelly Blue Booked our car and we're $2,000 in negative equity. And the bad part about it is that right now we need an alignment, and a lot of the mechanic shops are trying to avoid doing the work that our car needs, and want to do something else instead. It's frustrating. But on the bright side, since we live on an island, my husband went to get some crabs off the beach instead of buying them.

Paid Off Debts
April 3oth I paid off my personal loan. It made me so sad to see that I couldn't even have the $160 to pay it off. After that, I had freed up $100 a month extra. So what I did with that was take that money and apply it to one of my credit cards. I was able to add a little bit more of cash to my budget, and I'm using the Dave Ramsey's Envelope System. I also keep track of it on mytotalmoneymakeover.com, which is also part of Dave Ramsey's Debt Free Empire, as I like to call it. I highly suggest the envelope system, or you can start your own using the small envelopes that will fit in your purse, or if you're a guy, in your pocket.
June 13th I paid off my credit card. It felt so great because things are moving faster. So when I got my medical bill, it felt great to be able to write the check knowing that I have enough to cover it.
July I will pay off my line of credit, and that will be the third on my debt list.
I came across this really funny video today.
It's funny, before I used to look forward to pay day so that I would be able to get a few extra dollars in order to run through the next pay period, and now I have paid off enough debts in order to loosen the chains of my debt. I'm so proud of myself.
